GRANSURF 50C-HM/LC

INCI : Dimethicone,PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone Water-in-Oil (W/O) emulsifier with HLB value of ~4.5. Highly concentrated, 50% active solids. Allows for lower use level requirement. Can be combined with an additional emulsifier for enhanced stability. Recommended for use in D5-replacement formulations. Acts as carrier for emollients, moisturizing agents and organic sunscreens Designed to be formulated in water-in-oil emulsions. Prominent applications include (but are not limited to) BB creams, liquid foundations, foundation primers and water resistant sunscreens. Suggested use level is 2-6% when used alone. Suggested use level is 0.5-4% when combined with primary W/O emulsifiers. For very stable W/Si formulations we reccommend to combine 2/3% Gransurf 50C-HM/LC + 2/3% Gransurf 67. Add to the oil phase (higher compatibility with silicone and paraffin oils) of all emulsion types. Gransurf 50C-HM/LC contains a controlled level of cyclics D4/D5/D6 (<1000ppm).
