ALPHA OLEFIN C8
ALPHA OLEFIN C8 (1-Octene) is a clear water-white, mobile liquid produced using a modified Ziegler ethylene chain growth technology. The product is 99% + olefinic. ALPHA OLEFIN C8 enters into all reactions typical of alpha olefins. It can be used as a comonomer in polyolefins and as an intermediate in the production of oxo alcohols, octyl mercaptans, amines, drag reducing agents (DRA), organic aluminum compounds, synthetic fatty acids and hydrogenated oligomers.
